Yep, Keenan is quite talented. I got so excited that I forgot to lay out the specs on this beautiful midnight lace, 4 1/2" blade, perfectly symetrical, can't be over 3/16" thick anywhere, mounted to deer antler, sinew wrapped knife ;D.

I would appreciate it if those of you haven't posted a picture would do so, its not just in the rules
but its simple courtesy to the folks that took the time and effort to make you a gift. More than enough time has passed

Paul, Glad you like it. Thanks for the compliments but I still have allot to learn on the napping. I'm afraid if I try some of that super hard stuff, you all have, that I would be in for some serious humbling. I'm glad that it finally got there and apologize for the delays.

Thanks Pat, Things are starting to smooth out on the home front some. We were able to get out for a little romantic get away to a rustic cabin over on the Metolous river a few days ago. Marinated steaks on the barbecue and river right off the porch. Watched a big herd of elk at dusk and a stroll along the river the next morning. ;)  I was even able to control myself and not take a saw to cut staves ::)

Wow! Paul, thats a great gift.

Keenan, you are really coming along with your knaping. Man thats purdy.

Kennan, I think you will get your chance to hit some hard stuff if you come out to the Classic. You will meet a lot of the guys on the site and get more knaping and bow building in than you can imagine. My adrenaline is already flowing in anticipation!

The gifts all look great.I'm very envious of some of the work especially the knapping and knives. Maybe an old guy like me can learn some new tricks too.

Looks great thanks for posting the picture but is there any chance you can take a picture with you in it and e-mail it to me.
Higher resolution though :)
