PeteC:
My son-in -law,Zach , and I went pig hunting down in the Old Sabine bottom public land today. We found a little bunch right off the bat this morning, and trailed em for about half a mile.A couple of the bigger hogs, seemed to know we were sneakin' up on on em,so we decided to split up  and try to get ahead of the bunch for an ambush. They drifted toward Zach, and he did'nt get but one opportunity, but he made it count. He snuck up on all fours to get a 15 yard shot. The pig only made it about 40 yards and crashed. He was using his little 48" osage D-bow,50#@25".His arrow was switch-cane with a band-saw trade. We were 2 miles from the truck,so neither one of us ought to have any trouble sleepin' tonight. God Bless
