I'm still good for it. And I'll tell you what else I'll do. I'll bring the trusty Toaster Oven and show you guy's the proper way to cook Coral spalls the cheap, easy, redneck way.

We did a heat treating at the camp-o-rama last year. I believe it turned out OK.
Pappy, I will do a pitch glue demo and a pitch varnish demo.

Ronnie, the toaster will get hot enough for most Chert. I've done Coastal Plains in mine.

haha.. that was so funny..
Last summer me and Tim were camping out by LBL with some honeys, and had a fire going.. well i shoulda known better but I had a few in me. anyway we built it on the beach of the lake and it was all little cobbles of dover chert and about 20mins into our camp fire. we had fireworks.. i had a small piece of rock stick to my lip and gave me a 2nd degree burn.

The heat treating will work if Pappy can keep the rain away this year.:) We heated some rock at Pat's last year, turned out pretty good. If anybody can get hold of some 55-gallon barrels cut in two, you can heat in that and it's easier to cover in case of rain.
