thank you, both :) It's an unbacked hazel bow ;) Ash warbows didn't reach the 100, they were both in the 90's, but one's more like the high 80's now after retillering. Both still need heattreatment, and first one needs some piking.

Nick is that wych hazel or our generic european hazel "Corylus" because that one wouldnt likelly stand for this.
What is the sg of the wood?

would luv to see some traditional horn nocks on the bow.....( also on the other ones aswell )
imo it would just finish them off... ;D ...and they are not difficult to do

many people are amazed when I tell them I used hazel for this heavy bow, but it's really 90# and it's hazel ;) I don't have an Idea about the s/g, sorry.

african man, this one won't get horn nocks, nor will the other warbow I posted here. I got two staves lying around, they will get those horn nocks, if they satisfy me ;)
