MOUNTED ARCHERY

(1/5) > >>

hawkbow:
It has been a while since i got on the old war horse and let some arrows fly... Kenneth (little john) inspired me with his medicine hat paint and snakey bow mounted archery pics.. So I saddled the old boy up and let some arrows fly.. ::) Surprisingly he still knee reigned like a champ, and I still hit the mark while galloping by... have a long way to go before I would try this for a living  but sure is a good way to keep me and my horses in shape.. hope you all enjoy...lets see some of everybody else shooting in different ways.. Little John:
Nice work Mike, awsome pics and beautiful animal. Stacy sure does a good job at catching the arrow in flight. I don't know if I ever inspired any one before, but glad you got out and let some fly. I have another horse I have shot off of and neither have minded it at all, so I encourage any one with access to a good broke  horses to give it a try. Actually I hit better than I ever would of thought so it is not as hard as you might think. The hard part for me is to try and get three arrows off on one pass at the target.  Again Mike cool photos and good shooting.       kenneth

hawkbow:
Three :o arrows :o my horse is too fast, or i am too slow... I can only get two one in the target.. and one wherever it ends up ;D ;) Thanks Kenneth for your kind words.. Hawk ... Mullet.. you should try chasing those pigs on horseback and shooting with your bows.. Hawk

Pappy:
