Who hold their arrows?

<< < (4/4)

huntertrapper:
ive had the same problem. gotta hold em tight

Little John:
I only carry the one I will shoot in my hand with the bow as I also get the whack of bow hitting the other arrows. I use an asbell type side quiver that is very easy to get another arrow on the string.   Kenneth

I've tried holding arrows in my bow hand but I also get the loud "crack". :-\

I like holding an arrow in my shooting hand.....something I borrowed from kyudo style shooting.

I would wind up cutting a finger off if I tried that. ;) ;DHe must not be shooting hunting heads.  :)

Pappy, take a look at that glove.... :o

The samurai used the kyudo shooting style and I'm sure they weren't shooting target arrows. ;)  Anyway, I think the holding of the second arrow is a result of the two-shot round in target shooting.  I don't think I've ever seen samurai holding a second arrow (in illustrations) when fighting.
