sailordad:
looks like it was one hell of a good time
like you,i too get to bow hunt with the family, well most of it.
my oldest son never got into it.
but my wife and youngest have come bowhunting, with wheelie bows in the past.
i have a bow planned out to make for the wife this winter, and when both my sons are out of the NAVY i will have a bow or two for each of them.
whether or not they will decide to hunt with me,up to them but i hope they do.

keep up the good family times, kids grow up too damn fast to say "i wish we would have done ...... when they were still young"

hawkbow:
A/ho brother... I hope your warriors will embrace the bowhunt with you when they get home. family in the outdoors is always great.. Hawk

chasing crow:
Hawk,
It does my heart good to see families doing great things together! I hope you are enjoying rabbit stew at this moment. Thanks for sharing your outing with us.
Chasing Crow

hawkbow:
Thanks chasing crow.. just finished some elk steaks... and going out to shoot arrows at ducks in the am with my boys.. should be fun.. Hawk

recurve shooter:
i am jealous my friend. im trying to get my sister into archery but she isnt the same as me. dont see the world the same way. my dad is an exelent hunter, but he is a rigger and has been on 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, with one weekend per month off for the last year. he dosnt have time to get into something that eats up time like this dose. i do, however, have a really good friend, who i see as a brother, who enjoys the hunt the way i do......though he lacks the skill i have.  ;D

looks like a great time afield. congrats man.  ;D
