Went bowfishing...

this morning for about an hour and had some luck.  there are some super large carp in the shallows this year.  grass beds everywhere and the next month of bowfishing will be a blast.  if anyone wants to go, come on down!

 Nice Carp Chris and give the little lady a hug for me. ;)  Are you saving those skins? and you ought to try that Gar meat. If not give it to Alex, it's a lot better than that goose he gave me..

  I wish I lived closer, I would definately take you up on it! It looks like it would be a blast!

 I fried some carp one time and it was a BEAR to eat becuase of all of the bones. I finally threw it out because I kept missing them and getting them stuck in the roof of my mouth. The meat tasted great though. I have heard that there is a way to clean/cut them where the bones are not a problem. Do you know how to do this?
