Let me introduce myself

My name is Mike Kroeg and I live in Minnesota. I have bowhunted for close to 30 years. Several years back I started hunting with glass backed longbows and recurves. Then I started making those bows. Now, I guess I'm in a new phase of my life ( and I'm not talking about Viagra ), primitive.

I'm sure I will have many questions for you boys in the weeks ahead about making bows, without that wonderful safety net called fiberglass. I have already broke a couple of hickory backed bows. I have had my doubts about doing this primitive thing, but I am determined.

Welcome aboard, Mike. It took all of us a while to get it figured out, but you're at the right place. I've learned more from these guys in the last few years than I have everywhere else put together.
