A few knives...
« on: May 30, 2009, 11:54:47 am »
Here are some pictures of the knives I made this week. A couple of short blade neck knives, and a 4" glass knife. I found the glass when I was turkey hunting this year. I think it is from a old bottle of some sort. It flaked really nice, tougher then normal glass.

Hey ! Nice   That is some fine looking hafting work there. What are you using to tie them on with ?  That glass looks like old clorox bottle bottom. Good work.  '  Frank

Thanks Frank, I use epoxy and artificial sinew. You could be right about it being an old clorox bottle bottom, I just wish I can find more of 'em  :)

Love the last one. Looks like a great skinner.
I had no luck at all knapping this weekend. Everything I touched broke. :(
