fishin rods are for people who aint got bows

sorry for not having pics. my budie should get them up soon. me and another forum member, Ian Johnson, whent down to the boat launch today to fish some. i brought along my bow with the bowfishing rig, and he insisted that we wouldnt need them. after a lil fishing with no luck we went down to where a bridge passes over the mouth of a river about 50 yards from where it hits the lake. a few weekends ago i stick 3 gar there, and today i decided to try it again. well i missed a shot at something (i dont know what, but it was a fish of some sort) then found a 3 foot coton mouth chewing on a piece of cut bait in a crab net. well out of exitement i missed him. and went about my buisness. well he made the mistake of comeing back, and sticking his head out of the water. i leaned over the edge of the bridge and sank the muzy fishing head through the center of the top of his one and a half inch head ;D. so now we have a nice 3 foot skin. jist need to git one more like it. i bet ian will bring his bow next time.  ::)

Shootin like that, sounds like none of em aughta stick thier head out ;D. Don't look like you'll have a problem sticken another moskin.

thanks cowboy, im hopeing i can pop another one soon. there certanly aint no shortage of them down here.
