Haha, my dad used to say the same thing about golf. Yeah they looked fantastic and I think it's great that you put all of that work onto it and they are still useful, makes it special.

I need to wrap my hawk handle.
Behind the hawk head to keep it from slipping back, and
At the handle for better grip.
Been looking for sinew on the web but have not had much luck other than spools of it.
Is this ok to use?
Where are some good sources?
what else would you recommend?
Whole strips of sinew?
rawhide?

Give me some tips/ technique/ instruction for wrapping please.
I have seen some using paracord but this is not primitive.
