nandina
deersled:
does anyone know if you can use nandina for arrows or foreshafts? It grows very straight and has many shoots. Kind of like a privet, but I'm not sure if its related.
Pat B:
I have never tried nandina but I believe it is too thick for arrows. Atlatl darts probably as well as foreshafts.
deersled:
Not sure what you mean by "too thick"?
Pat B:
The diameter of the shoots.
deersled:
gotcha!! The ones long enough for arrows may very well be too big around. Think I'll try em as foreshafts. thanks
