Son's bow and one more
« on: July 10, 2009, 11:56:58 pm »
Here are some pictures of my 2yo son and a walnut selfbow I made for him. The other one is a dark walnut backed with sapwood with a maple riser. It blew up after I got a finish on it.

What a Dad! You'll never regret making that bow.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Hey - how much does that thing pull...I tried my 2.5 yr old on about a 15# fiberglass I had, but it was way, way too hard for him.....

My son's bow is 36" ntn and pulls just under 8# at 19". It's a self bow bend through the handle and basically just one ring thick.
Sorry I would have answered sooner but I just closed on a house and haven't had the time to get on here recently.
