Wood Chuck Stew
JackCrafty:
Man! I'm gonna bookmark that recipe. :)

Tastes very good. One of my famiily's favorites. I usually slow roast it with carrots, onions, celery and potatoes. Even the old ones come out tender and tasty. Haven't gotten one with a bow yet though. Nice shooting!

Wood Chucks are TASTY little critters! :P

When dressing a groundhog, I would suggest removing the glands/fatty tissue from under it's armpits. Groundhog is quite yummy. I pretty much lived on it during the economically challenging spring semester in college. But, I would not suggest BBQ-ing one. I tried it once, it was nasty. Stay with the pot roast, stew recipes.

I reckon that a fella could throw most any meat into that recipe and it would be good vittles. ' Frank
