learned an easy way to taper for glue on points!

(1/4) > >>

recurve shooter:
hi guys. i broke the point off an arrow and needed to taper it for a blunt for bunnies but didnt have a tool, so i turned on the gass stove, burned the end for a little while, then scraped off the charcoal till i had it about right, then glued it up.

just figured this might make someone's life a little easyer!

El Destructo:
I just use my Belt Sander

mullet:
Belt sander for me, too. I used to use a pencil sharpener.

recurve shooter:
well im liveing with my mom (i am 16 after all) and i cant even find a hammer around here. much less a sander.  so i had to find something. by the way i cut an inch off of those new arrows i got and they shoot much better now!

mullet:
Trey, scrape it on the sidewalk while you are turning it. About the time your knuckles hit the sidewalk, thats the right angle.  :)
