It is a neat feeling isn't it !?  I think tinder fungus grows on birch trees.

fires awesome isnt it. tim if you have birch especially yellow birch near you look for what looks to be a burnt limb on the side of the tree. some times as small as a quarter other times as big as a football. this is chaga fungus. it is the true tinder fungus. it also contains some serious anti oxidants and when used as a tea it'll cure what ails ya. it has been used to cure everything from a cold to cancer.

I actually have alot of milk weed around here (ovums) and also lots of black locust trees, suppose to be a fungus on them trees ain't they? Soon as I feel like scratching my ankles all night long, I'm gonna go looking for what I can find. ;D

actually tim a couple of my buddies are making some extra money selling chaga so i guess yes.   =)
