will self nocks in cane work for me?

will do. spent the last hour trying to straighten them. got 7 done so far. man it takes forever.

What the others said. Self nocks in cane work fine with any kind of bow.

got 7 straight in an hour,wish i worked that fast.
usually takes me about an hour on each when it comes to striaghtening.
however most that i have made so far have been wood shoots,do have some cane set aside for hunting arrows.

well mine arnt perfectly stait yet. im going through and doing a few every night, getting the major kinks out, then i'll go back on a weekend when i aint got a bunch of stuff to do and get them perfect. thank yall alot for all the help.

You are better off doing them that way anyway. If you try to straighten them all at once you end up re-bending what you have already straightened. I work the internode areas first, lay them down flat until at least tomorrow and then work the nodes...and let them cool thoroughly before fine tuning.
Cane arrows, like hardwood shoot arrows don't have to be razor straight. As long as the nock and point line up and the arrow spins true you are good to go. ;)
