I was recently in Missouri at my uncles house and the erc there grows very straight and clean for some reason so I harvested a beautiful log . Now that I know I wont have to back it , I'm exited about making a warbow and a longbow from it . If I could bother you with a couple more questions; On warbows do you work them square and then round them?or do you crown them from the start? I just completed an Osage longbow which I found really difficult to work because I crowned it right off. How would you rate the cast of erc? Thanks for your responses Mr. St.Louis I admire your work ,it's a thrill to speak with one of the best bowyers in North America.
