hahaha i have so much bird seed on my deck!

youngbowyer33:
oh so clean it just like a rabbit?

recurve shooter:
pretty much. i usually make a cut accross the  back and work my fingers in under the skin on either side of the cut and pull, one side toward the tail and the other toward his head. like pullin a little shirt and little pants off.

youngbowyer33:
they left and havent come back :(

Pat B:
They will be back for free food!  ;)
A good cheap point for small game is a "nutter"; a hex nut threaded on the tapered end of the arrow. Get a nut big enough so you will have at least 1/2" of the taper is sticking out beyond the nut. I super glue the wood tip and the nut after threading it on the shaft. The nut adds the shock and the pointed tip adds the penetration.
I shot a squirrel a few years ago with a Judo point. The squirrel was on a large white oak about head high. I hit him dead center of the back from 10 yards with a 55# bow and it ran up the tree never to be seen again.  ???  Squirrels are tough critters and a bit of penetration is what it takes to kill them.
