Stickbender I did think about that also we get a turkey tag about every 5 years I got three left to wait.
I should have enough to do one of each. I'll have to go to build alongs for some plans.Good idea ;D

Those are some amazing weapons... those northern peoples are a tough lot. I will make it a point to visit the museum next time I get to Anchorage.. thanks for sharing.. Hawk

     Stoker, I had been thinking about making a caller, using a coconut for the box resonator.  Clean it up and scorch it and sand it down a bit.  Then fit the slate on top, and make a couple of slits on the bottom, for the sound to come out.  I might have to experiment with it to see what is the best place for the sound hole, and the size, style, slit, round hole, etc.  I think it would make a neat sounding turkey caller. ;)  8)
