A river cane arrow with a story

Hello, Everyone

Tonight my neighbor came over to the house and I was finishing up a cane arrow. As I was wrapping the point on with some B50. He kept talking about how light and fragile my arrow looked. That it would break on impact cause it was hollow. It's too heavy in the tip he says. All these remarks begin to irritate me. He says "shoot it into that plywood over there and see what happens". I think it's gonna explode,he says. Them deer are gonna laugh at you.............. So you think my arrow is junk huh.I said "Them deer are not made out of PLY WOOD. But let me get my bow we'll see what happens. I brought out my 65lb long bow  and shot the arrow at the half inch ply wood door. The point went through the door of my shop and stuck out the other side. There was no damage to the arrow. Just trouble getting it out. It totally exceeded my expectations, but I tried not to act surprised.
Thanks to all of you who made this possible. Cane is for real. I'm convinced.

I have had a bad experience with Cane Arrows......I missed my Target once (before I put up the Conveyor Belt Backstop) and my Cane Arrow went through my Cedar Picket Fence....leaving the Turkey Feathers behind...across the Alley....and burried in the Neighbors 2X8 Douglas Fir Fence so deep that I pulled the Glue On Point off in His Fence....it is still there!! Thats a Tough Arrow!
