"OSAGE" were do i start,need help

i live in PA,iam a new guy to this stuff,i fianlly found some osage wood, i would like to no can i build a flate bow with this or is a long bow better for this kind of wood,one more ? in the middle of my log ther is a round circle the heart of the wood is this were i want to take it down to,it about 2'' 1/2''  round

seen your other post it aint osage but bl so if it is seasoned go after it.
