GA regulations?

<< < (2/2)

Bluehawk:
Dont realy know in Ga   but in Penna . It is specific  STEEL only  and minimum  and maximum sizes    very restrictive.

mrkinsey:
having bow hunted in GA for three years I always used non-barbed arrowheads that were at least 7/8 inches wide.  it's not that it is a regulation, but I did it out of respect for the animal.  In fact if I am using stone points, I will not hunt unless shooting them out of a bow that has at least a 60lb draw weight.  But strictly speaking there are no regulations.  Always double check your hand book each and every year because regulations change.

Hillbilly:
GA is one of the least restrictive states in the country as far as broadheads go. Here in NC, they have to be unbarbed and 7/8" wide.

Outbackbob48:
Bluehawk, Penna. allows stone heads just can't be barbed an must be less than 3" an at oleast 7/8" wide. The new regulations book is wrong stating steel heads only. Later Bob

Bluehawk:
