Dang, boy, maybe I better start trying to make a Clovis, or Folsom, if that is what it makes you do! :o  That is Beautiful!!
And Thin!!!  Whooo Wheeee, and it is pretty.  Holy Moley, that is a nice one!  Can't wait to see it hafted.  Careful Pappy doesn't sneak up there while you are at work! I understand he is partial to knives......;) ;D  Great Job.

well iwas gonna start another thread for this one
but figured it would fit in here instead
after all it is just more eye candy

this was from a slab of AFRICAN QUEEN PICTURE JASPER
i started out with a piece that was about 1"x6"
put too much side pressure on it while pressure flaking and ended up snapping it two seperate times
tis stuff is hard as nails before i had it heat treated, now its almost brittle in various colored areas.
atleast each time it broke, the piece was big enough for an arrow head,so no knife blade for me this time.
this what happens when i try to impose my will instead of listeneing to the rock,oh well its just rock
after i broke the slab enought times, and knew the knife blade idea was out.
i set forth to make a point.
hers what i ended up with
let me know what ya'll think
thanks for looking
