Pimp your chrono

Hello All,

I've just bought a Chrony and was wondering whether there are any modifications that any of you have made to your chronos to preserve/improve them, please?  This is what I had to do to my fletching jig to take long feathers and is the sort of thing I'm on about
I have seen the picture of someone doing a 'penetration test' with a chrono on another forum and am keen to avoid this :o  I understand that a plastic screen is a good precaution but any images of your 'pimped' chronos or suggestions gratefully appreciated.
