Sealer for Cane Arrows

If you don't sand the Rind...the waxy coating on it will not let the Sealer/Finnish adhere to the Bamboo...and it will just crack or peel off in time

I usually sand the rind completely off, then finish with many coats of Waterlox (Poly/Tung oil blend).  It sinks in well and dosen't look really shiny.
