Fresh orange osage for cured staves...2~1
« on: December 01, 2009, 06:55:25 am »
I have osage growing near me...lots of it...but I would like to get cured stuff to work with while what I'm stocking up sets up.  Does anyone have cured osage they would be willing to trade for green stuff?  I would be willing to pass along 2 green staves (or an unsplit log, even) for cured stuff.

I would also consider Ipe or other such interesting woods...but I want ready-to-work staves.

Thanks guys!

Hi,  I'm willing to consider a trade.  I don't have any osage ( which makes this desirable to me,) but I do have some other cured staves sitting around.  I also have easy access to tons ( literally) of ipe.  I've got western juniper, bur oak and Rocky Mtn Juniper, and one hazel sapling.    Ron
