first squirrels hit!!

the ace hex head is awesome on squirrels.  so is the g5 small game head, but it would have to screwed into an insert in the cane.

are field points ok for small game?

I think field points are ok, but they tend to bury when you miss or sink into a tree, so any shot upwards is a gamble. The nutter is cheap, easy to install on a freshly broken tip, and buries a bit less on ground shots.
