Aero86, it was abraded on the edge and underneath.  The main reason I abrade under it is to get rid of any overhang.   I think it also strengthens it too

     I've found that a few choice words, some recognizable, and some in unknown tongues, and placing the uncooperative and irritating piece of stone on the anvil of the vice, and hitting it with a five pound sledge gets rid of any offending lumps, stacks, and unsightly end pieces that have fallen off from the opposite ends, or the offending side that split and came off. ;)  I have noticed that within a few minutes, after storming out of the garage, I feel a whole lot better.  Then I go back and clean up the debris, and maybe if I want to tempt fate again, pick up another piece of rock...... ::)

ok, i see it now!  ive been watching some paleomanjim on youtube, and i finally understand platforms, and why i cant get good flakes pressure flaking.  because im not setting up good enough platforms, not grinding enough.

rick if that dont work i'll show you how to use the concrete floor at the club. it removes stacks in an instant.  ;D
Sounds like the way I've been removing them.  Unfortunately it removes everything. ;D

WOW... :o :oYou do have some talent. I have tried stone points for arrows. get really close, then, I guess in a hurry. Only completed 3. Not going to say how many tries. >:( >:( >:(
