 I have always read don't wear red, white or blue.....think you proved the blue part to be wrong!!

You don't wear red, white or blue while turkey hunting for safety reasons. Too many idiots out there that might take you for a turkey! :o  Turkeys do see colors like all birds so more neutral colors are probably better.
