Just had a chance to check out your weekend, Pappy. Looks like a busy one. Congratulations, Hunter, a fine bird. Thought you weren't going down, Dave?

We finally got four days off from this crazy job I'm on and there is going to be a turkey massacre this weekend. ;D

Ya it was a nice one Eddie he was very happy, seen 2 more about like him yesterday evening[very big bird] on the east side of the road by the cabin side of the point headed toward the creek,[you know where I am talking about]  ;) :) also 3 Toms and Lord knows how many hens on the west side scattered from one end of the field to the other, seems they all came out of the wood work after the storm we had. Good luck this weekend Eddie. :) FRIDAY, headed to the cabin early today [I hope] got lots to do around the club, got a few more things done yesterday and we have a meeting and working Saturday, probably be short handed because of Turkey season opening and Easter but the ones that show up we have lots to do. :) Planning on putting up the flag pole today and try to get a start on the practice range, also work on the arrows for the Classic Trophies. :) Not sure if Kevin/Don have any plans for work on the bridge this weekend,  :-\we got lots of rain yesterday and calling for storms today so we will have to work between them. Hope y'all have a good one also. See ya Monday. Life is Good.  :)

Be safe Pappy and don't try to do too much by yourself.  Have a good weekend.

What a great weekend, got lots done to ready for the Classic and just an all round great time with the guys Friday and Saturday and with the Family Easter Sunday. Hard to beat. Here are some pictures of the flurry of stuff happening. Turkey wings starting to come in. :) Doing some prep work getting ready for the concrete truck. Waste not want not and we always have concrete left over so we have learned to be prepared for the left over. Michael putting up some bee traps. :)

Practice range being set. It has turned out really nice. More wood to cut up, we try and at least cut what we burn over the weekend until the Classic  is over. New knife, A friend from AK.  John Ford gifted me this for letting him Cross my farm to access where he Turkey hunts, very nice knife. He gave me one from the same knife maker last year. :)

Put in a new gate,16 foot and new fence, now the big trailers won't have trouble making the turn in to Twin Oaks. Got wood scattered in the top camp ground, we like a few piles in the bottom. Part of the practice range set up. :) :) They have some very cool shots. :)

good lookin' sections of fence.
