I think I'm the one in need of lessons the way I've been shooting lately. I was reading the shooting section in Bowyers Bible IV, and makes me want to stand five yards from the bale and practice technique for the next several months. Maybe I could get over the flinching and everything else wrong I'm sure I'm doing.

Greg didn't I suggest this very thing some months ago  No matter how bad you are take comfort in the thought that I'm worse

Yeah Dana, I've read it before and been told that by others as well...but it takes patience and dedication and I haven't had that so far. I'll do the exercises for a while, think I'm making some progress, then start shooting again for accuracy before I should.

That new bench is almost too pretty to work on....  ;) I see you boys have gotten some work done on the workshop area, too. If you add on much more, I will have to change the song from "Pappy's Workbench" to "Pappy's Workshop".... ;D

As long as you have a license and permission to hunt the land you can hunt whatever is in season.     Pat

Friday again,it seem to come faster every year ,so I better enjoy. :) Got more big plans this weekend,Greg,A and I have about 18 more Hickory stave's to straighten and reflex and about
10 more kids stave's to floor tiller along with all the other things going on ,trying to get ready for the Classic, seem like everything revolves around that right now.We have a meeting, club shoot and working Sat.so hopefully after this weekend we will be getting close to being ready.Would
love to do a little Turkey hunting but don't think there will be time.Got some backstrap and fresh
turkey breast in marinate as we speak so supper tonight should be eatable,Knothead is coming down this evening so I am pretty sure we will have an adult beverage and seat around the fire, who
could ask for more than that.See yall Monday and let you know how it goes.Life is Good. :) ;)
Hope yall have a good on also. :)

Nice bird, congrats! Looks like the snake took a beating which is somewhat unusual. Looks like you all  had another great weekend.

Jesse putting sinew on the Osage, turned out good,Supper started and a stash of Hickory stave's,got about 30 now.We also had a big Cherry blow down and planed on making stave's out of it but after cutting it and splitting it it turned like a cork screw,so I guess we have some more brat wood. :)
