Ya Bob they seem to be doing well, Sally has lost some weight again but she runs all the time and hot weather takes it toll. I will fatten her up come deer season. ;) :) Ya Shawn the grip looks good on Joe's bow, thanks for the help.I know he appreciated that. Now to get it tillered and shooting. :)

Looks like you guys had a great Fourth, you know how mine turned out, and really glad to see you had a really good turnout at the IBO shoot. Hoping to see you guys in November.

Thanks Michel ,Yep hope so Eddie and yes a great turn out, 751 total register, 410 on the Hunter Challenge side and 341 on the IBO side, some shot both and some just one or the other so total people was around 450 , so very big success for us. Had more self bows this year than ever which is good to see, the Arvin Weaver shoot down drew a bunch of shooters and a big crowd to watch, man some of them guy and gals can shoot that is for sure. I just got home this morning after getting all the people out of the hollow, good to be home but will be ready to do it again after a little me time. Here are some pictures of the week of and the event. Good fire and good food the early part of the week leading up to the shoot, also a few projects in the shop. Worked on my 58 inch Osage and about got it finished. I was there from the 9th until this morning. ;)

Put a handle on and old meat fork on my old bosses son, he takes care of me so I try and take care of him. Beau and Will gathered some kind of mushroom , not sure what it is but Will was excited. :-\ Found these skins cleaning the target shed, may find some use for them. ??? Campers started rolling earlier than I have ever seen them at this event, several came in Monday through Wed. Lot more camping this year.  ???

Getting all the little things ready for the shoot and also some shop work fitted in. Tweaking my Osage bow to get a little limb twist out. :)

A final heat treat of my bow. Bill and Allen worked in the shop most of early week. Had to repair the head on a wolf target that came in with the head cut off, no big deal just takes time. ;)

More people working in the shop this year , got to love that. The Cantrell's are in and lot took some time to gather them. I was gifted a Timber rattler skin for Bucky he got in KY, he thought it was bad because of the scales peeling, it wasn't. ;) :) :)

I was gifted a knife from Robert Garcia, just beautiful work, Thanks Robert. So I had to give him one of my brain tan hides, not a trade just good friends giving to each other, he is a Class act. People started rolling in so we was Getting every thing set for Thursday noon start, all came together very smooth. :)

Not near as many vendors as the Classic but still had a fair showing, about 10 I think. Good to see Jonathan from 3 rivers, he is a great guy an been around this stuff all his life. :)
