Blades and handles ready to assemble and glue up. :)The first one Ed showed was spur down and the second spur up so I made 1 of each, the spur down was easier to get fitted because of the size of the leg bone hole but managed to get it fitted up nice, just had to work slow to get the tang through the leg bone without busting it. :)

Then the work began, they wouldn't let me life anything much so I drove the truck and ran the handle on the log splitter. It is amazing how much you can get done when we all pitch in. We got 8 rows about 12 feet long and 6 foot high, we go through a lot of wood at the Classic through the year but I think we got enough now to handle it, the pile was looking pretty sad before Saturday. :) :)

My girls was plum worn out from just watching. ;) Then after lunch on to the thicket , If you have been there before the spot we cleaned was the thicket at the top of the first camp ground passed the cabin, I think it will be much better than camping in the field, as we cleaned we also stacked fire wood from all the old stuff we were cutting, save people from having to haul it from the big fire wood pile. :)
