I'm bringing a hackberry stick with a string tied to both ends, a couple of pieces of straight cedar with some turkey feathers glued to them and I intend to poke them targets right in the vitals.  See yall tomorrow   ;)

Welll, I've gotta brag on my partners.  I shot the round with castiron and he was a machine.  His arrows only knew how to find the 10 ring.  Since we're leading I guess I didn't shoot too bad but I felt like I could have shot a little better.  I didn't see Pappy's round since he shot in the afternoon but it's clear the cane found the 10 ring as well.  I had a lot of work to catch up on around the house but I took breaks ever hour or so and flung 9-12 arrows then went back to work  ;D  Momma allowed that as long as the break wasn't too long.

Ya I shot pretty good, not near as good as Grant, but who dose.I think I shot in the 140s.We
have about 90/100 point lead so at least the next team needs a big doe just to get even. :)
Jesse,Scott and me went through with Grant keeping score Sat. evening. They all shot good.
Jesse had a little trouble to start with but got on track after a few shots.I think it was nerves. ;) ;D ;D Of course having Grant along will intimidate anyone. :) We did have a great time
it was a lot of fun and to many laughs to talk about. That is what this is all about, good friends, shooting and some great eating, can't ask for more than that. ;) :)

Well for all my practicing, I didn't shoot very well...not terrible, but not good. I guess I was putting to much pressure on myself, and the target panic kicked in with me flinching on a 1/2 dozen or so arrows in a row. I did stick with my selfbow and cane arrows through the shoot though...wasn't the equipments fault....

I think the next meal I have at Pappy's, I'm going to spend the entire time taking pictures of him eating!  ;)

After shooting and all those good eats, especially the pecan pie ala mode, the pic with dog would have included me next to her!
Look like a lot of fun was had by all. Thanks for the pics!

Good times again as usual :). Greg, hang ya a spy cam up in the chow hall - sure you'll get some good pic's ;D. I dunno Pappy - looks like your teaching her some basic rock breakin. Man that pit is really filling up with chuncks.
