Pappy:
Great weekend, very hot , guess summer time has hit Tennessee. :) Not many pictures, stayed busy with the meeting and working and also meet a guy and showed him around the farm , think I made a deal for him to raise horse hay instead of Beans and corn, love farmers but got really tired of them complaining about the deer and turkey eating up all their crop,So with hay that's not a problem. :) Sorry BJ but you know how that is. ;) Not near as much money but all I have every really wanted was not to have to ride over it several times a year with a bush hog and some one to take care of it and not let it wash away, this guy seems to be the man, we will see in a year or so if that's the case:) :) Picked up a few cool rocks on the ride, my place is covered up with these. People ask me about climate change and I tell them "well this place was under water at one point so I guess it can happen again" My Osage off the form and ready to tiller, venison burgers for lunch. :) :)

Made a good trade with Dan on some new arrows, I had given him about 100 turkey feathers a couple of weeks ago, he came in with 5 arrows and said shoot them and see what you think, they flew like darts, he gave them to me, I noticed it was only 5,and ask him how come it was only 5 he said I have 7 more at home, I said what you want for them , he said 100 feathers, tricky guy that Dan is. ;) :) so I gave him another 100. My Osage on the tiller board, little stiff in the outer 1/3 but still looking pretty good and have the weight to work with. :)

My Osage out to 25, still a little stiff outer 1/3 , 1 inch to go and a few pounds left to give, :) it was very hot and humid so decided to give it a rest and finish in a few days. Got 1 of our spike camp tents put up, sprayed with camp dry and checked out, it is one of our bigger ones but this year we are planning on spike camping the whole 2 weeks so decided to go with the bigger tent, we have used it before and it is pretty comfortable, just a little heaver to pack in so we split it up, 1 carries the tent and Beau carries the poles/floor and stakes, about 22lbs total but not bad if split up. Late Saturday evening I cooked up Miss Joanie's back strap steaks, more brownie points and I need them. ;) :) :) Hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good. :)

It finally turned summer here to pappy. We are humid and in the 90’s. We generally don’t get a lot of those. Maybe nine or ten, some summers none.
I love your farm but I think I would be growing horse hay to.
Nothing wrong with that.
Everybody needs a few brownie points

Ya we get a lot of this kind of weather this time of year, going to be in the high 90's all week. I am excited about the hay deal, as I said the money isn't nearly as good but I think I will like the looks of the place much better plus he will be able to use some parts that the row crop guys couldn't so less bush hogging and cleaning up for me, that's always good. :) Brownie points are a good thing for sure. :) :) :) :) :)
