Friday again, got no big plans this weekend, just hunt some deer.I killed a nice doe yesterday
and there are 3 left in the cooler to be skinned and cut up so I plan on that this evening and mid day Sat.By the time We get all of these done we should have enough meat for a few weeks.Jesse showed us an easy way to get the sinew out of the legs so I am getting quite a pile of that also.May have enough when this season is over to do a bow or 2. :) Hope yall have a good one also. good.
Life is good. :)

Congrats on the doe Pappy! I went behind my house yesterday for a little while checking the acorn situation. The deer are really beginning to feed on the white oak's...might have to give them a try this afternoon if I can get finished up with the evil necessary stuff that pay's the bills.  ;D

Pappy,

I killed a 90 lb. doe yesterday morning. Came in about 4 yds. Had to let her pass by and got a shot at 10 yds. Hit her in the right shoulder she went about 70 yds.

Had a great weekend,no deer by me but got to see some of others folks and got to help track one.
I didn't hunt Sat evening,I was skinning deer,6 in all for the weekend.Got a good bunch of sinew, maybe enough for a couple bows.Of course we ate good.Jesse came in with some new blades
and one of them wound up mine, the other one was for Grant.I got a handle on mine and it turned out nice. Here are some picture of the goings on. :)

Looks like everyone is having fun. I really like that Ishi stick that Jesse made. Keep it up.
