I don't discriminate. If it has a beard, short or long, I'll shoot it.  Just have to keep Pappy and Leapingbare from walking in on me while they're still too far away to shoot.    What did the doc say about your ear Pappy?  Hope everything is good. See ya.

Not the best news ,have to go for MRI Wed.He has me on some viral med's and 10 day
steroid pack.Seem to be a little better. I got big plans for the weekend. We are having a club meeting to set up for the Deer Classic shoot next Sat. I plan on putting up 2 or 3 stands this evening ,got 2 coats of sealer on my new bow yesterday and 1 stand up so it's all coming together.
Need to disk and sow my other food plots on the west side also.We have a friend coming in
Sat. or Sunday to build a bow from AK. So that is always fun.Of course there will be some campfire bull and good eating I am sure :).Hope yall all have a good Labor day.See ya Tuesday.Life is good. :)

Got ya,I was off yesterday, you laboring. ;) ;D It was another great weekend. We got the range
set you our shoot this Sat.Also got also had time to get 7 stands up and my other 2 food plots finished with the help of GregB.He is a tree climbing machine. ;) ;D Had a friend in from AK. He got
a Hickory bow shooting and was really happy with that.Had several folks down to do a Little squirrel hunting [22] I think last count they killed about 20 so we should have some good eating. We had to break down and eat back strap both nights. :( ;) ;D of course with all the fixings.Jesse was down Friday and nocked out a few points,he make it look so easy.BigA also got another sinew backed Osage shooting and I finely got the grip and finish on my takedown. Also shot my stone heads, them things should do the trick, they shot great. Here are some pictures of the weekend.

It was a all around great weekend! I think Jan learned a lot, and maybe he can pass on some of his newly acquired knowledge to his Arkansas friends.

Got some good hunting spots set up and did some scouting for maybe additional spots for later in the season. I started off with some scouting Saturday morning carrying a .22 rifle with me, and it didn't take long to switch into the squirrel hunting mode...

Good food during the weekend, as is normal.
