GregB:

I've got a large venison roast in the crockpot that I put on last night and set on low. Seasoned up good and also several strips of bacon drapped across the top of it. Added a can of beef broth this morning before I left for work. My brother-in-law from Maine is stopping by tonight the first time he's been to Tn. in 10 years. Hope he likes deer roast...! :)

Taking off vacation tomorrow...headin' for the woods! ;)

wolfsire:
Last few days I had me some venison sausage made with jalapenos and cheddar from a buck my uncle shot at 4 yards (74# bow) gett'n into his garden or something.  Aside from the cheese, no fat was added.  Having some what of a tollerance, I could taste the peppers, but man were those sausages good. Might be the best I've ever had.  :P
