Had a really good peaceful Saturday evening and night watching the birds, I trowed out some seed and they were loving it, Annie was keeping a close eye on them also. Guess this kind of weather is tough on everything. Hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good. :) :)

We have a good snow cover. Fortunately for us it is fine powder and I used a push broom to get it off the cars and porch steps. It will probably stay around for most of the next week because of below freezing temps til late week. We got lucky with this snow, had our ice last weekend. I love a nice snow cover.
Your girls seem to be doing ok. they might need a hard roof over their heads.

Ya I expect for this to lay around for several days also. Pat They have a nice dog house under the tarp, it has actually been good because it as acted kind of like a wind break for them, they just go in behind it to get in the dog house. :) Supposed to be a little warmer the next couple of days so guess i will be able to check and see if anything is busted under the cabin. Stay safe.

I’m glad to see you made it through the storm OK Pappy.  We got a lot of snow up here.  I put down a big heavy duty tarp in the driveway before it started.  I rigged it up to a chain and used a winch to pull the tarp with the snow on it across the road and into the woods.  It left a perfectly clean driveway down to bare gravel.  Saved a lot of shoveling.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Good idea Clint, but the 2 drives I worry about at home and farm are a little big for that and would take a lot of tarps. ;) :) I did cover some of my wood pile before this stuff came in but with the ice It was really tough to get the tarp off.

Yeah, I've been having trouble with my right shoulder. Only really bothers me at night because I sleep on my right side mostly. Some days it's fine then out of nowhere it's back. Getting old ain't for sissies.  ;D

Sorry to hear about the knee Pappy. Hopefully it gets better. I’m not sure about you guys, but I always hurt a lot more when it gets cold. Especially damp and cold just above freezing. I actually do a little better when it gets below 25

Yes the getting old is not that much fun. Still better than the alternative though
