Friday again,Had CDL audit this week and staff meeting after staff meeting so I am ready to get away to the peace and quite of the farm.Don't know how I would handle it without that.
I am headed down as soon as I can get away.I need to get some stuff laid out for a special supper.
Shanon [sawfiler] is coming down this weekend and I am sure a few more so I plan on some venison steak and gravy, bisquits and of course taters.I need to cook a lot for Shanon he will
rival Jesse.
I got some stuff to work on but no skins yet for my Yew bow and no sleeves for my snake bow so I guess I will work on the other Osage I started last week.It is not supposed to be very good weather so I may or may not do another brain tan hide, depending on the weather.
Hope yall have a good one and I will see ya Monday.
Life is good.

Woody is just getting back into Trad/primitive stuff so he is looking through all my books to gather stuff he needs.Been away from it for a few years,I always knew he would be back and glad he is.

sneaky.
O ya Shanon skinned it with a Obsidian flake.Worked great as you will see.

The skin dried,Shanon trimming up his snaky billits and a load of rock fromJesse.I think everyone had a good time I know I did. Wished yall could have been there. Can't wait till next Friday.
O ya I also got Jeremiah's bow back on the form and heat treated the belly ;it turned out nice I think he will be pleased when he gets back and I didn't like the finish on Joe's bow so I striped the finish and am ready to try again
,it seems pretty oily so I may need to re think what to seal it with.
Life is good.
