quivers for knapped heads

(1/2) > >>

stringstretcher:
How about posting some pictures of the quiver styles that you use to carry your arrows with knapped heads while hunting.  I have uses a cat quiver but want to make something more traditional.

billy:
I use a small beaverskin quiver that a friend of mine gave me.  I wrap the points with toilet paper, then wrap them with rubber bands to keep the padding on them.  I don't take the paper off until I'm in my ambush point and ready to hunt.  I'm pretty anal about protecting the edges of my stone points.....

oneeye:
Just sew some some leather together and make a slide on sheath. When you pull em out your leather sheath will drop of into the quiver.  I use them for my steel heads.  Scott

mullet:
I use a side stalker style quiver. I just put some Spanish Moss in the bottom to protect the points.

Bill Skinner:
Woven River Cane quiver made by Krista Hiolbrook.  Put a leather cup in the bottom to keep the tips from working through.  I am going to try the Spanish Moss, it has got to beat a handful of oats in the cup.  Bill
