This site is horrible!
riarcher:
Few weeks ago I was just snooping about the Internet. Somewhere along the line I saw this place, remembered it from a few years ago, so I came in and looked about. BAD MOVE!!
Started bringing back memories. Went upstairs, pulled the bare wheelie, reached over and tugged the 48" Bear mag,,, and said, "Huh, Why not?"
My bankroll was due for a hit. (Shsss, don't tell the wife. :-X)
Let's see, got the bows,,, can't need much else,,, right? WRONG!!! VERY WRONG! ::)
Alright since then I've added-
New custom Osage character bow (ouch)
1 doz. 3R's carbon Trad. Onlys
String
arm guard
archer's mitt
3 doz. assorted sized field points (that I like as much as the arrows by the way -UGLY!)
Extra nocks (and the turny tool)
200 pheasant tail feathers
200 turkey feathers
Spool silk thread (blk)
20 Ginny Hen feathers
Quail fan (feathers)
Archery Box
3 dial indicators
$20 Home Depot #2 pine
some 3/4 iron plumbing
500 Boo shoots (that I was gonna split w/ Areo, but talked him out of it - I'm set for life! ;))
LB stringer
payed Narr. Bowhunters dues
Machete
pocket quiver
hip quiver (and I still don't like either - gotta make my own.)
I'm sure I'm leaving "things" out.
Had all this and more. Sold some of it off, gave away a lot more. Never thought it was this expensive. ::)
Spend tons of time on the PC learning about all sorts of stuff. Like Bamboo, diff. feathers and cut and ways to cut, Bowmaking, Homemade (about) everything, and the 2 fletch Eastern Woodland fletch. Meet some interesting folks. Hopefully made a couple friends to boot.
Being retired I was bored and needed something to do,,, now I need to get some shut-eye but too many things to learn! :o Plus I'm busier than a one legged bride at a butt kickin contest! ;D
THIS SITE IS HORRIBLE! ;)
Josh:
LOL ;) ...i know the feeling but i think this site/magazine is great! O:) ...also looks like you left out something on your list.... like a 1 year paid subscription to PA magazine!!!!! I need to get a subscription to the mag because it costs more buying them individually at BassProShop. ;D -josh
