Feb. 13th - Beautiful day for a bunny hunt! Sunny and just about 0deg. Celcius, Springtime by our standards!
I've had this planned for a while now, but unfortunately. only 2 could attend from all the invitations I offered. Next Time folks! Maybe a Spring Fling!
In the first pic, I'm on the left. Interesting is the fact that I built all three bows used on this Bunny hunt...Tony's bow
/D BBI was a blank from D. Knight and Cathy's BBO bow was built with an Osage slat, also from David. Thank You Dave!. My bow is my 3 year old Hick backed Jatoba, still hunting even with the stress fracture repairs to the belly....Go Baby-Go!!!
This hunt was held on my family's 120 acre Homestead which has ample room for bunnies to hide as well as partridge-bear and deer! We didn't see a rabbit all day, (just one partridge), but we had alot of fun just the same! We lost a few arrows but if you worry about that then you shouldn't hunt in the snow! BTW, lunch was held within the walls of the old cow barn (that burned in the 60's) to get out of the wind......Hope you all enjoy the pics.
