Thank You To Bill Skinner
« on: May 10, 2010, 12:00:48 am »
I want to thank Bill for being such a giving guy. He's got me into this addictive habit :o ;D I have been trying to make points from the flint I got at Fort Talloose I think I was lucky enough to make a couple out of about 16 pieces :( Well, Billsaid he had some spales (sp?) and flakes If I would like them till we were able get up with each other. Work kept me from the last ASTB shoot and the knap-ins. Bill PM'd me and said if I wanted he would meet me in Selma (half way point) and give me some. This 1/2 way point is about 60 miles or a Little more. We met yesterday and he gave me a 5 gallon and 3 gallon bucket full.  :) This was waaayyyy more than I was looking for :o Bill didn't want anything for them and answered allot of questions I had. Bill is a stand up guy and I just want to thank him publicly.
Thank you very much Bill. Look forward to breaking a few rocks at the Hill shoot in a few weeks.
