Michael Roberts (El Destructo) Wins Feb BOM for Laminates
sailordad:
Mike, i was just showing your post of this bow to the wife and telling her how i thought you deserved to win this month.
when she asked why,i explained how the tiller was spot on(she agreed),the craftsmanship of the bow and the very unique choice of wood
the i seen the thread for who won,i was glad to see it was you and my vote actually counted too ;D
i have always admired your paddle bows, but this one is the epitome of your bow collection
very nice work sir, keep it up
Gordon:
A unique bow and deserved of this win. Congratulations Mike.
El Destructo:
Gordon....coming from You...I consider that a Big Honor...You make some really Smooth Bows....I appreciate the Compliment...
Tim...thank You for Voting for Me...I know that You have always said that You liked these Bows...so when are you going to try one?? These are Perfect Candidates for Board Bows...so they will be right up Your Alley...being wide and Slat...they need either a Board...a Decrowned Stave...or one heck of a Large Tree to get a Stave flat enough in the Back for one...I wish that these were as easy to Tiller as a Pyramid Bow...but They Are Not.... :P...they can be real Bears to bring in spot on and still hit your weight...
Don...the Tux....is out of the Question...even when I am laid to rest...it will be in either a Harley Shirt...or a Finlander Plaid Long-Sleeved Shirt...and a pair of Levi 501's.....with my Engineer Boot....or Sandals...depends on what time of the Year I Kick It..... ;D
Barrage:
Congrats Mike. Like the wood choice, and paint job, and tiller, and...
cowboy:
Congrat's Mike! That's a purty one...
