thanks guys... It wasn't really "green" bamboo as in fresh cut, I have had it in my workshop for 6 months so it was fully dried.  It just never got direct sunlight so it retained its natural color.  I used 80 grit sandpaper to sand some of the rind off to give it the multi green color.   :)

Josh, If you put double straps on it, you can wear it down the center of your back if you get in real, thick brush. Like a back pack, one strap on each shoulder.

Cool thanks Eddie!  I am going to do that tonight.  I can just double them up when I am wearing it as a side quiver and then just separate the straps to wear it on my back when going through thick brush.  That's about all we have here in my part of AL.  Mostly privet thickets interwoven with thorn bushes, LOL.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!   :)

Very nice, Josh.  I had been considering using a piece of bamboo like that but have wider diameter probably about 5" and figured it'd be too much.  I might have to get myself a 3.5 to 4" piece and give that a go, though.  Your details on the quiver are very nicely done.  The cleanness of the jute wrap, the leather band, and the cord braid.  Nice, man!
