Any duck hunters on here?
« on: March 09, 2010, 01:11:30 PM »
I make wood gunning decoys for my personal use.  Most are cedar or pine, with basswood or cedar heads.  All are hollowed, sealed with shellac, and hand painted with artist oil paints.  They all also self-right, and balance well.  I'd like to possibly trade for a nice primitive bow, preferably osage, but I'm not too picky.

I do have pics available of some.

If anybody is interested in one I'm not limiting possible trades to just osage bows.  I'd be willing to consider anything.

I'd hunt with them, good looking dekes. Shooting ducks with your own decoys would just add to the experience, don't know if I could handle any more enjoyment :D

Quit shooting them off the sewer lagoons.  :o ;D

I like duck, there just aren't many places to hunt them in the desert. They get upset when you hunt at the golf course.  ???
