easy way to kill turkey

<< < (2/8) > >>

sailordad:
Eddie,i am like you on turkey hunting
love that gobble on the roost, the fly down, the calling, the strutting
the pounding of a load of #4 shot into their heads  >:D

the cow decoy wouldnt work where i hunt
for some reason the easterns we have will tolerate cattle near a barn
but out in the fields etc. and they shy away from the cattle

FlintWalker:
I've never killed one from behind "Bessie", but I've guided several friends with her.
I like calling 'em in and killin' 'em myself.  That's all the fun in turkey hunting.

leapingbare:
i used to stalk erm. i still do sometimes. but calling erm in sure is fun!

Get you a pack of banjer strings, some # 10 treble hooks, and a..........just kidding.
Actually, a #220 conibear and a couple handfuls of shelled corn works a lot better. ;D ;D
